Seafood meal at Tak Fok, Kepong

The picture on the left is Cheese Crab.

This is color of crab. =p We (myself with JS colls) went to Tak Fok, Kepong after work. The journey was a 1 hr jam and I was restless, but my driver (Soon Kien) so steady, still chirpy and cheery, salutez~~ Not to mention we lost the way a bit when we were damn near the restaurant.. Hehe but it was worth the effort and price was damn reasonable too (I think this is mainly due to my table having less ppl-6 and they don't eat aS much as I expected). It costs RM 21 per person. We had 2 types of crab (1 kg each)-cheese and salted egg yolk, y
ao mak vege, some claypot japan tofu(it's super ordinary, dun order), bun(tasty! looks like has been fried), marmite chicken and tea beverage. I truly had an enjoyable crab feast last nite.. ^_^

Oh yea, I missed out the curry prawns in coconut dish, super delicious, too bad can only have one. Haha On the right are pictures of empty dishes and the crab shells I emptied. Cheese crab was the first dish, then *Hands super dirrty period*, then wash hands and took the ending. If I could, I only want to eat the pincers(khem), =D Bala ba ba baa, I'm loving it~

Jobstreet Bear

Blue, for the blue sleeves of the bear shirt. We (ppl who ordered the JS bear) should receive the product in April. It is already Apr 26th and I still hear nothing about the bearrrrrrrrrr. Isn't the bear bear cute? JS first and ever bear, 20 cm in height, Bin wants one too, but it was too late to order. Somehow, I believe they might have extra, then can get one for "U" lorr... FYI, we placed order like at least 1 month ago. Lambatnyer....

Bukit Gasing - Apr 19th, 2008

Today, Bin and myself joined PF, Eric, Kenny, Fipink and Joan to Bukit Gasing for a hike, but to our dismay got a fresh landslide, hence we took other paths instead, i think they are less good because that's not the path we intended to use. Somehow, we still managed to spend about 1 hour going through other paths. On the way, met an uncle who claimed that he knows every corner of Bukit Gasing and he's on his own. Impressive yea? I find that I am not so much of a hiking person because my steps seem imbalance unless when the ground is really flat and dry. Gosh~ Sends a rush to my spines trying balance my steps. Nevertheless, it was a good exercise.

O ya! a note to add, Bukit Gasing got damn lots of mosquitoes. So, so many!! You definitely need either long pants, long sleeves or mosquitoe repellent. My suggestion would be long pants and repellent lor, short sleeves top should be fine providing u apply plenty of repellent on your arms. Before I went into the hill, I already whacked a mosquitoe as it caused an itch while biting me (otherwise I wouldnt have noticed as it's near my foot) and smeared my hands with my own blood (i think it's mine), what a Start~!!

After the hike, we went bfast-ing at Raju (famous mamak according to Joan and PF). We had roti pisang, tosei, kari kambing, sotong, ayam..Wooosh~ wutta heavy breakfast yea~~ It was delicious and unhealthy la.. I didn't enjoy the roti pisang because it was so badly burned. Gosh~~ I am trying to avoid carbon and i got a fully burned roti..

Nevertheless, meaningful morning..

Forbidden Kingdom at KLCC - Apr 18th, 2008

Today, I EL-ed to go sign my offer letter at my future company, Cxxx Txxx. Left Puchong at 10 am and reached destination (Menara Citibank) at 11 am, many thanks to my dear monkey for sending me there without any grunts. After I got my copy of offer letter, we went to KLCC to look for Crumpler bag which my brother wants (to store laptop and his brand new SLR). The model which he wants is "Sinking Barge" and it is out of stock. So we left name there and they will inform us when it arrives (probably next week).

After completing all our mission, we went to watch movies. I'm sure you can guess what movie I watched, yea.... it's Forbidden Kingdom!! It definitely meets my expectation as I was truly entertained from the start until the end. If i must, must, must give a tiny comment at least, then i say the gal character is kinda bodoh, like surfs no purpose. Hehe But kudos all 3 main characters namely Jason, Jet Li and Jackie Chan. All 3 fit their roles purrrfectly. Amazing movie!! in fact, i would love to watch it again. Hehe anyone???

So if you ask me, I rate it 9/10. My movie companion(my dear monkey) rates it 6/10. Apprarently we got different taste when it comes to movies... He he~~

Dinner at Caff with JS colls and ex JS colls - Apr 16, 2008

Yesterday, Eric suggested dinner to me, so I asked what's the occasion, he said none. I would say this is a gathering of the few of JS cyberjaya batch colleagues (current & ex). Ppl who attended are KianYang, Kenny, Eric, WeePeng, May and myself.

At first we decided to eat at BibiWok and everyone also said "cincai" and Eric the organizer already booked a table for 6 there too. Then as WeePeng, May and myself walked to our cars at Bkt Jalil station carpark, we thought of changing dinner place to Caff, reason being:
1) more carpark spaces around there
2) delicious food, at reasonable price

Since there were 6 of us, each ordered an item.
Yee Leen - turkey ham pizza
Eric - Pepperoni pizza
Wee Peng - oleo lamb
May - salmon salad
Kian Yang - beef bacon pizza
Kenny - seafood lemon and basil oleo (dun remember the name liau, just look for "lemon and basil" under Pasta section of the menu)

The food were all very delicious and it was fun tasting different kinds of pizzas and pastas. The amount of food above, inclusive of drinks, costs each person rm 21.60. I find the price reasonable la. We also had loads of laugh relating old and new stories. I certainly think we should do this again, sometime. =) During the mini gathering, we have planned for 2 more upcoming events which are:
1) Bkt Gasing hike on this coming Saturday, 8 am
2) Small Genting, farewell for JoAn, on next Saturday

*Looking forward to the hangouts*

30 Mar 2008 - Bino birthday celebration

I have the mood to post in red font. Maybe the shirt i'm wearing in the pictures i'm going to share is Red too =p This post is a belated post with regards to Bino's birthday celebrate on 30th Mar 2008.

In short, we went Sunway Lagoon in the morning until a little past noon. Before that, I thought we have to plan carefully to utilize the time 99 as my assumption is up till 5 pm (close time) is not enough. Upon reaching Sunway Lagoon entrance, we q-ed up to get our access watches by flashing the printed ticket voucher. I have to admit I don't think much when it comes to online purchase. I believe there are people who find it insecure to provide credit card information to the internet a.k.a. a world full of hackers.

Once we're inside, first thing we look for is the locker. The con side to the locker usage is it can be used only once whereby you can only open it to get your things once. If you need to lock it again, you have to pay again. Thank god we managed to stuff both our bags into one big locker. Save some $$. Then we played all 5 kind of slides, wave pool, etc. The best slide would be the one where your head goes down first and you hold on to a rubbery mat.

After that, we decided to bathe and head to the dry park where all the roller coasters are. Bino the brave decided to try to "siao" boat which swings from left to right at first (sounds like typical boat yea), then it swings higher and higher until it goes 360 degrees. He got vomit symptoms after that, felt unwell but proceed to accompany me to the Shoe ride and grand canyon which got me all wet. Damn! But it's a blessing in disguise because someone who was in a really good mood bought me a pair of capri with a really sweet color, i think it's soft peach color.

Feeling really hungry (about 3pm), we went to Itallianies at Sunway Pyramid to have our planned birthday dinner. We ordered an appetizer which is fried calamaris and white sauce pasta to share. The paste is so dry and pekat, not exactly my type but the calamaris is a must-order-again. Good recommendation from the sweet waitress. Not to forget, I accidentally left my handbag at the restaurant but managed to retrieve it back. It wasn't on the chair anymore, it was with the waitress who served us. Thank god! What a big head prawn I am...

There is also a rock exhibition inside Sunway Lagoon. This picture was taken using N95, kinda amazing hor. The colours were captured nicely. We reached home about 5 pm and rested as it was a Sunday. ~~~Monday blues approaching~~~

Sleepie, Frustrated Friday

I'm sleepie because I slept late last nite. I slept around 130 am and lately I've been going to bed around 11 pm which is quite a drastic difference loe. I thought I can cope with it especially when I woke up this morning feeling oukei. Then I check the clock, FULAMAKZ it's past 830 am liau.

*Pinki scratching her head on how to inform the office*

In the end, I told myself why la so freak out, just go in late and work for 8 hours loe. So I logged in to my webmail and sent out an email to the PNT (Product and Technology) team to announce my change of shift and deep inside hoping I won't be in hot soup for my flexibility. Hehe

Now I am in the office as I write this post. I arrived at 1030 am. My~ My~ This is due to myself taking my own sweet time preparing to work. Let bygones be bygones.

My plans tonight, I want to sweep my room's floor, then read ASP.NET. It's a must must loe. I've been slacking for 2 nights. >.< I don't feel good with my current job and is desperate for a change. Hai, I hope the god will spend a little more time on me. Let me strike awesome job!!

Tomorrow me and my friends will be going to Korean BBQ at Korean Village, Ampang. Hope that I'll have read satisfactorily so that I can fully put behind my worries and truly enjoy. Been anticipating the wonderful Satuday the whole week. =D
